I really enjoy the cRPG mod for Mount & Blade: Warband. You create a character and level him up by playing in online sieges and battles. What makes cRPG more fun than a game like WoW is the combat.
The best 12 Addictive games for PC Windows daily generated by our specialised A.I. Comparing over 40 000 video games across all platforms for PC Windows. The order in this selection is not absolute, but the best games tends to be up in the list. The latest addition in this selection are Hidden Animals: Photo Hunt.
The combat is really fun and difficult to master. When you level up your character, you can mold him to fit your playstyle (if you like archery, you can make an archer for example). The community is really fun and tight-knit. I've put 2000 hours into the game myself, I almost never get tired of sieging castles. Ive had a lot of free time lately (ive been bored) and i want a good addicting long lasting game for my PC, i recently got Diablo 3 and i got to level 60 now im bored and will probably never play it again, i own a lot of games like BF3, counterstrike, portal 1 and 2, crysis, SC2, i have skyrim but not for PC.and im bored wit all of them lol so i need a new one not a crazy addicting game like WoW because then ill never leave my house but almost on that level pooxtreme3 Have you tried the witcher 2? KHAndAnime I would agree, Mount & Blade, (Native Expansion) and Warband occupied my computer exclusively for six months, no game has ever done this for me. Can't reccomend Mount and Blade enough, truly a unique title, and sadly a well kept secret. EXTREMELY HIGHLY ADDICTIVE!:cool. Mount & Blade:Warband is addictive as hell, and my personal favorite sandbox RPG of all times.
The game is very open-ended. Basically, you start as a worthless peasent with 0 money, and in the end you couldbecome the absolute king of the world. Or, you could become anything els you desire to be.
Very popular aswell, especially online, and there are countless quality single player mods to dwelve into that'll make you waste hundreats of hours. My favorite would be the Prophesy of Pendor. Incredible module which a fantastic soundtrack and packed full with content. Ofcourse the best is the cRPG Mod. The multiplayer will be your food, water and your religion. Play Vampire The Masquerade Bloodlines. SAGEOFFIRE Great game that will give you at least 30 hours if you stick with it.
I'd also recommend strategy games like total war. Medieval total war 2, rome total war, empire, napoleon, etc all have endless mods that you can install and its insanely addictive. I think I have over 400 hours played on medieval 2 total war alone. Good mods for medieval 2 are stainless steel and third age total war. Napoleon total war has an awesome WW1 mod called 'The Great War'.
QUOTE='Dazler1'The 2 most addictive games i have played for years is the recent xcom enemy unkown and plants vrs Zombies highly recomend both supertrooper23 lol plants vs zombies? We arent all 5 year olds. I say go for civilization 5 or total war shogun 2. I'm 36 and I thought PvZ was a blast.
When I think of 'addicting' games, I don't really think of open world RPGs like Skyrim. While these are great games and I log a ton of hours in them, they aren't the sort of game that I compulsively play over and over. Here are some that I do: Dark Souls - Brutally hard but the core combat mechinic is so solid that I still find it satisfying after 150 hours on the PC version (not counting the hours I put in on the PS3 version).
I deliberately make characters that I'll stop leveling between 85 and 125 just to hang out and PvP all day. FTL - Indy starship simulator. Designed to be started over and over again. Randomly generated universe each time with random encounters with all kinds of aliens and situations. It's kind of like the world map random encounter mechanic from Fallout 1 and 2 but as a starship game. Orcs Must Die - 3rd person combat/tower defense. We arent all 5 year olds. I say go for civilization 5 or total war shogun 2. Who says its for 5 years old its freeking well addictive for any age. Im going on 40 and sometimes the simple games are the most enjoyable and Addictive! Minecraft looks like lego, is that for just 5 year olds NO IT IS NOT!
You dont just need guns in a game you need melons.
